Manathakkali Vathal Kuzhambu Recipe
Manathakkali vathal kuzhambu brahmin style is one of the best in iyer vathal kulambu varieties. Manathakkali kuzhambu recipe is usually prepared in two styles one is manathakkali puli kulambu recipe and the next is vathal kulambu.
Here is the preparation method for manathakkali vathal kuzhambu recipe in tamil nadu style. Manathakkali kai kuzhambu and manathakkali keerai kuzhambu are two different varieties prepared as a medicinal recipe to clear stomach worms and indigestion.
Manathakkali kuzhambu recipe Ingredients
manathakkali vathal – 5tsp
Sambar onion – 15
Tomato – 1
Oil – 5tabs
Mustard – 1/2tsp
Fenugreek seed – 1/2tsp
Curry leaves – little
Tamarind – 1 lemon size
Sambar podi – 2tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2tsp
Salt as required
Preparation of manathakkali vathal kuzhambu Iyer style
Take pan add little oil, fry mustard, fenugreek seed and curry leaves,
Then add the fried manathakkali kai vathal and fry in sim falme,
Now add the chopped onion fry well, and then add the chopped tomatoes,
Add sambar powder, coriander powder, salt and tamarind juice,
Add a cup of water and let to boil until the raw smell of tamarind goes.
Tasty manathakkali kulambu recipe is ready to taste.
Note: You can also add 2tsp of coconut paste to enrich the taste of manathakkali vathal kuzhambu Brahmin preparation.
